THE TORTOISE RIG

This beauty is still under construction and slated to be finished April 2024. Affectionately named The Tortoise Rig, this Dodge Ram 5500 truck has been decked out to meet all weather and terrain conditions.

This habitat is 15'-0" long x 7'-10" wide x 7'-0" high with an approach angle to deflect the wind.

 

Featuring BOXXED composite panels, Buckstop Truckware single wheel conversion, a custom subframe and flatdeck with pullout deck, MotorCraft windows and door, Victron solar system, a lifting queen size bed above a large seating area, passthrough to the truck cab, compoost toilet and shower, large kitchen with Isotherm cruise 200 fridge, 12 volt Big Bertha oven and huge amounts of storage and a library.
